AverageOpposition splits every appearance, goal, penalty, assist and clean sheet (GK and DF) by the quality of the opposition. Did they do it in the big games? Then they're a big game player. Or did they go missing and only deliver against the teams at the bottom? Then they're a flat track bully. We're looking at the top 5 leagues in Europe since 2021/22 to the current season to try and prove it.
